At the same time, the French brand hopes that its new range will be the “fillet” of its sales: Peugeot announced that it won first place in pure B-class electric cars in Europe in 2022 with the supermini Peugeot e-208 – to be the best-selling model together with the e-2008 – also electric – to carry modern and efficient electric motors. Today, the French brand strengthens its hybrid technology with the new HYBRID system that comes from the heart of Stellantis. The advantages of the new system are the PEUGEOT 48V HYBRID which includes a generation PureTech 136bhp petrol engine, mated to an electric motor and a new 6-speed dual-clutch electric gearbox.
